Washington County’s Redesigned Website

Chipley, Fla.-The University of Florida’s Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences Washington County’s Extension Office has redesigned their website to be more user-friendly.

The website offers the latest information on upcoming events, and web-based updates on topics including Agriculture, Family and Consumer Sciences, 4-H and Horticulture.

The Washington County agriculture page offers the latest marketing solutions for producers and consumers as well as research based information. Visit the agriculture page for updated information on integrated pest management, agricultural markets, and small farms.

The Washington County Family and Consumer Sciences page offers information and education to help you live well. This page can provide information on canning, nutrition, raising children, and financial planning

The 4-H page plugs the visitor into a community of young people across America who are learning and practicing leadership, citizenship and life skills. The Washington County 4-H website page provides information on 4-H camps calendar of events and activities, volunteer information, Washington County Youth Fair and 4-H in the classroom.

By visiting the Gardening and Landscaping page on the Washington County Extension website you will receive information about home gardening, lawns, turfgrass, weeds, bugs, ornamental plants and more

This page also offers material on how to become a Master Gardener and upcoming Master Gardener activities. It features information and a photo gallery about the Chipley Farmers Market as well.
