Washington County 4-H at a glance...

Nearly 200 youth in Washington County and surrounding areas are enrolled in one of the most dynamic youth organizations in the USA!  We have traditional clubs that provide leadership, educational and recreational opportunities for your child.          For more information on joining 4-H, check out our website!

Washington County 4-H Clubs

Florida Fire Ants - A group for homeschool students in Washington County and surrounding counties. 

Livestock - for youth interested in raising livestock projects - hogs, steers, heifers and poultry. 
8 years old to exhibit hog or beef projects.

Project Challenge - collaborative project with the WC School District's program for gifted education.

Sure Shots - Skeet and Trap - for youth interested in learning the sport and skill of skeet and trap shooting. 
11 years old to participate.

Top Knocks - Archery - for youth interested in learning the sport and skill of archery. 
8 years old to participate.

Sew Crazy! - for youth with beginning to intermediate sewing skills that want to further their skills through community service projects and create projects for their rooms.

You can also choose a 4-H project and complete it on an individual basis with your parents help.  There are projects in nearly everything you can think of.  Many are available for $5 through the 4-H Office.  If we don't have what you need, visit the 4-H Mall and order project books along with other great 4-H items.  Click here to see a list of Florida 4-H Projects.

Enroll or re-enroll in 4-H!

1. Go to https://florida.4honline.com
2. If you're a new 4-H'er, follow instructions.
3. If you are already in 4-H, click "I have a profile."
4. Enter parent's email address and password.
5. Choose Role: Family
6. Click enroll 2011-2012
7. Update contact information and medical records.
8. Change the date on your health form approval to 2011.
9. Make changes to clubs and projects if needed.

Are you interested in sharing your time and expertise with kids?  Washington County 4-H is looking for volunteers to start new clubs to reach out to even more kids!

All adults who wish to volunteer in the Washington County 4-H program go through a mandatory background screening and interview process before being allowed to work with 4-H youth.
